One of this days working on some business plans an ideea occured to me: how a SWOT analysis will apply from astrological point of view?

SWOT analysis it can be defined as: ” a strategic planning tool used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project or in a business venture or in any other situation requiring a decision” (based on Wikipedia definition ).

But the SWOT analysis it can be applied very easily on a person level. We can evaluate our strengths, weaknesses and our opportunities and threats regarding a decision to be made.

Reading a chart we can create a SWOT analysis quite easy. I’ve tried to outline some of the characteristics of each element:

Strength
- All sextile and trine aspects between planets or other chart elements
- T-minor, Kite and Grand Trine configurations
- SUN, Venus, Jupiter and North Node positions in house
- Conjunctions (if not afflicted or between elementes with the same influences)

Weaknesses
- Squares
(show us our internal conflicts)
- Saturn
placement in house (the place were we have to learn about patience and wisdom)
- Conjunctions (if afflicted or between elementes with different influences)

Opportunities
- Oppositions (outlines our external conflicts and also the expanding opportunities) 7th, 10th ,11th houses rulers in good position and aspects.

Threats
-Oppositions: external conflicts
-T-Square configuration
-Elements in 8th and 12th house

Kind Regards,

Dan

Of course this is done after you analyzed the project chart by itself and you know what are the strong and weak points. Actually you can very easily do a SWOT chart of the project like presented here.  The transit analysis should point out the important moment of the projects. I prefer to called it ’stress moments’.
