Oh, forgot to add -- Pluto will also be in conjunction with my natal moon (27.27 Sag) and trining its natal position at 28 Leo. Open to suggestions.

Hello. I found this site researching this opposition. Perhaps you can offer some insight into my own chart. The opposition takes place in my chart exactly conjunct the MC/IC (MC=18 Virgo). Also squares my nodes in the 1st and 7th houses. Jupiter will trine/sextile these points and the full moon will conjunct my sun/saturn conjunction in 12th house Scorpio (Saturn=23.32/Sun 24.22). I have no planets at 21 Cancer, which will fall in my eighth house, but Mars squares at 22.32 Libra. Full moon in Taurus would create a similar pattern on the other side of my chart (6th house), wide trine to MC. Any thoughts?

Comment on Romanian 1989 revolution - mundane analysis of the communist regim change by Radu

Hi again

I know they both work, but they work <b>differently</b>, possibly reflecting different aspects of the Romanian pshyche. For instance when I think at the Moon in Scorpio, the first thing that comes to mind is the so-called Dracula legend, which is great for tourism, but so far of the true Romanian spirit. The Romanian people are probably better reflected by the Moon in Pisces from the 1859 chart.
I say probably because so far I still don't understand very well the main differences between the two charts.

I wrote some months ago two articles on Romania:
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrology-articles/history-of-romania.php
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrology-articles/spirituality-in-romania.php

I'd love to see this topic expanded in more series of articles. Would you happen to have the time to collaborate with me on writing more on the astrological profile of Romania?

Well, I kind of appreciate the 6th house. With Jupiter in it, you could either feel restrained and unhappy, or you feel lifted up to a higher plane regarding all its activities. I feel the latter. Even the most boring and unpleasant ones! :) (www.astrologywithmeaning.com)

Hi Radu,

I know that you use the 1859 date for Romania. I think that both charts will work because there are both relating to the same event. I think that also the Mihai Viteazu unification moment it will work fine.

In my opinion also the 1918 chart is a mirror for romanians. For me the Moon in Scorpio is very suggestive and showing us both the difiiculties we've encountered so far but also the fact that we , as a people, are so less united and radical in manifestation. We are the only ones to kill the communist leaders from the entire Eastern Europe.

From the business point of view the found date (incorporation date) is the best date to use. The launching date in my opinion it's ok if you want to analyze the Google search engine product.

Hi Dan

Sep 7 1998 was the founding of Google as a legal entity. Analyzing that chart helps understanding the success of Google as a business (including all services not only the search engine)
Google as a search engine was launched on Sep 21, 1999 from Palo Alto, CA (when the beta label was removed from the site). Have a look at that chart, it is deeply meaningful for the nature of the search engine: Mercury sextile Pluto (goes very in depth), Moon in Aquarius conjunct Uranus (very high tech), Sun in Virgo (very detailed and attention oriented).

Regards,
Radu

Hi Dan

Although I usually am fond of the modern Romanian state foundation of 1859 as the correct chart for Romania, it's interesting to look for connection in this chart as well, which stands for the Great Union of the 3 main traditional Romanian principalities, therefore possibly more like a spiritually fulfilling chart for the Romanian nation, rather than a chart which would give a a general characterization for the people.

So, it is in this context that I understand the progressed Sun conjunct the ASC as the the end of the dark tunnel of communism and beginning of what people expected in Dec 1989 to represent freedom.

However I don't see in the image you posted the transit of Pluto over the natal MC, as t-Pluto is at 16 Scorpio and n-MC is at 10 Sagittarius. The transit of Pluto is however very meaningful in the other chart I mentioned previously, where it squares the natal Sun at 16 Aquarius, which stands for the revolution (Pluto) against Ceausescu's regime (the Sun).

Best regards,
Radu
